1 Overview

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, courses, and related services provided by HIMT Group of Institutes ("HIMT", "we", "us", or "our"). By accessing our site, booking a course, or using any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our website or services.

2 Course & Batch Policies

The place of commencement is subject to change between HIMT campuses, and batch dates are subject to change based on operational requirements.

For Value Added and Offshore courses, a minimum of 3–4 students is required to confirm a batch. For UK MCA approved courses, a minimum of 4 students is required for ECDIS, and a minimum of 2 students for all other courses.

Every course is subject to confirmation from a minimum of 25% of the course capacity. If the number of participants reduces due to withdrawals and the batch strength falls below 25% of the originally enrolled students, the course will be rescheduled to the next available date, in accordance with D.G. Shipping regulations which mandate a minimum batch strength of 25%.

3 Receipts & Payments

Duplicate receipts will be issued upon payment of currency_rupee500 per receipt. All fees once paid are subject to the refund and cancellation policy applicable at the time of booking.

4 Eligibility & Conduct

Students should not be sailing or working in parallel with any shore organization during the period of the course. You agree to use our site and services only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law, infringe the intellectual property rights of HIMT or any third party, or interfere with the integrity or performance of our site and systems.

5 Confidentiality & Data Sharing

Other than to individuals and entities who are under a duty of confidentiality to HIMT, your details will not be revealed to any external body unless HIMT has your permission, is under a legal obligation, or such disclosure is necessary to protect and defend HIMT, its affiliates, members, constituents, or other persons' rights, interests, or property, or to enforce these Terms.

HIMT and its affiliates may share some or all of your personal information with another business entity in the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or restructuring of business. Any such entity will be required to follow our Privacy Policy with respect to your personal information.

6 Third-Party Links

Our service may contain links to third-party websites that are not operated, owned, or endorsed by HIMT. We strongly advise you to review the Terms and Privacy Policy of every site you visit. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.

7 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, HIMT shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, our site or services, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

All content and information contained on this website, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is copyrighted to HIMT Group and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed, whether in part or in whole, without prior written consent. We respect your rights, and in return, we ask that you respect ours.

9 Jurisdiction

All matters relating to this site and these Terms are governed by the laws of India. If you are located outside India and contact us, please note that any personal information you provide will be transferred to India, and by submitting such information you explicitly authorise its transfer.

10 Amendments

HIMT reserves the right to modify, alter, or include any other Terms and Conditions that may be deemed necessary, at its sole discretion. We will notify you of any changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date at the top. You are advised to review these Terms periodically for any changes.
