D. G. Shipping mandates a minimum batch strength of 25%. In the event that the number of participants in the course reduces due to withdrawals, causing the batch strength to fall below 25% of the batch capacity, the course would be postponed without any additional charges.

For Motor/Steam :

• 36Months as Engineer officer on watch which shall include 12Months as holder of COC as MEO Class II and
• 36Months shall be reduced to 24Months, if 12Months served as 2nd Engineer officer for Steam/Motor
• The Propelling time must be at least two thirds of the corresponding sea service period.

For Combine (Motor and Steam) :

• 40Months (20 Months Motor + 20Months steam) which shall include not less than 12 months as holder of COC as MEO Class II combined (Steam and Motor) and
• 40Months shall be reduced to 36Months (18Months motor + 18months Steam), if 12 months served as 2nd Engineer officer for Steam/Motor
• The Propelling time must be at least two thirds of the corresponding sea service period
• Non-Indian Participants need to hold a Student Visa to India to undergo the course.
