Improper Calibration and Usage of Spurious Spare Parts

Frequent breaking of piston rings in M/E. Improper liner calibration, usage of substandard ring (not original from maker). After starting M/E, within few hours scavenge temperature of one cylinder found rising rapidly. Scavenge space inspection carried out, found pieces of piston rings. Liner found worn out badly beyond limits.
