Crack in the M/E Cylinder Head While Sailing

During the voyage from Korea to USA, on a fine day, it was found that the exhaust gas started leaking from Main Engine unit 1 cylinder head. The engine was stopped and the cylinder head was replaced with spare o'hauled one and the voyage continued.

On investigation, it was found that the leaky cylinder head was a reconditioned one, done by a workshop in China, during drydock.
