Studs breaking due to improper tightening torque/procedure

While at sea one of the running generators tripped which resulted in black out due to a damage in fuel pumps, Fuel pump studs got broken which resulted in damage to generators as well
Reason: Overheating of studs.

Corrective Action/ Lessons to be learnt:
Correct torque limit to be applied to the studs as per manufacturer's recommendation.
