Accidental opening of CO2 pilot door as lock pin fell due to vibration

When stern thruster was in operation, due to heavy vibration on the aft of the ship, the pin from the co2 pilot cabinet door had fallen down, door opened, consequently the engine room blowers tripped & engines were shut down due to lack of air in engine room atmosphere.

The locking pin on the Co2 cabinet room to be firmly secured & frequent checking to be done on the same.

Main Engine & Aux engine shut down during manoeuvring
