Be aware about the trips and reset actions

It is important to be aware about the location of reset and always test for the emergency stop to avoid any delays during critical situation.

The trip reset was located and identified little late and alarms were reset and operation commenced. The delay caused stoppage of cargo plant restarting and notice of protest by authorities.

The VSL in US port and cargo pumps tripped due to p/p room gas content alarm high caused due to high RPM and momentary leak from gland. The cargo pumps tripped and could only be started, once the trip was reset. Time wasted to locate the reset and to take corrective action.
